TOP: My books on the far left corner are Harry Potter Hardbound books which I am too scared to brown or be dusted, hence the plastics. I have managed to plastic cover those in the middle summers ago. If only I have all the time in the world or if i stop being lazy, I would do so cover all of them with plastic cover. LOL. On the right side are Harry Potter DVDs, Kumon multiplication card and a rubik's cube that I used to play.
BOTTOM: See that small box? It's one of my baby books, it's full of bears on each mini book inside. On top of the box are dictionaries and kwentong alamat. My mom used to read us a lot before going to sleep in the afternoon of alamat and biographies of heroes. On the lower right are souvenirs of my dad from his travels abroad. That one is a real Russian doll.
Most of my books are bought on booksale because I was near one when I was still staying at a dorm. I used to go there almost every week (after my class or before a class) and buying books I like, saving it for when I have the luxury of time to read. I still haven't read maybe about 10 books here. My most precious finds are: Life of Pi and The Kite Runner for maybe P145 each
Given the scenario on top, you can hint that those books on the top shelf were mostly bought instead of booksale. LOL
To complete my collection, I still need a HP Hardbound Book 1 and the last 3 HP movies.
What I really bought are HP 6 and 7. The other 4 HP books here were gifted to me by my tita when I graduated from high school last 4 years ago. Yeah, I know I'm so lucky!
The funny thing is that I started reading Harry Potter starting from book 6! But I watched the 2 first movies so I know the context. LOL. After book 6, I then started reading books 1 to 5 :))))
I also have The Tales of Beedle the Bard but I forgot to include it here.
Left: One of my favorite books because it tells you about life and reality.
Right: One of the first novels I've read because initially I only need it for school and ending up a hobby.
But still, if given a choice, I'd rather buy books and stack them up on my shelf. ugh
I made it sure before buying books that it is worth it and sensible so I'll not regret spending so much for it.
My wishlist for now: Princess Diaries 1-10, Percy Jackson and The Lost Hero Series, The Fault in our Stars, Anna and the French Kiss, Divergent, Insurgent, A Walk to Remember, Just Listen
